What to do: if your box freezes when you enter or select a saved recording in the Library
Corrupt file
The following procedure
should delete your corrupt file, if you have been unable to delete from the
library:-
Corrupt
file in the library:-
1. Evaluate
what file is currently corrupt in the library e.g. are you able to scroll
through various files before the box freezes or does it freeze instantly.
2. Press
the menu button.
3. Scroll
down to OPTION 4 and press OK.
4. Scroll
down to OPTION 6 and press OK.
5. In
the help menu press 1397 quickly and in sequence.
6. Scroll
down to OPTION 7, Disable Library Video Window, and using the left and right
arrow keys set this to YES.
7. Press
the library button.
8. Highlight
the corrupt file and press the blue button to delete and the then the green
button to confirm.
9. After
a few seconds the recording will delete and there should no longer be any
corrupt files in the library.
10. After
exiting the library the library video window should re-appear.
